Order Recycled Pallets

Available Grades

Grade A

Like New
$8 – $12

Lightly used pallets in excellent condition. No broken boards, minimal cosmetic wear. Ideal for retail, food distribution, and pharmaceutical applications. These pallets have typically been through only one or two shipping cycles and look nearly indistinguishable from new pallets. Stringers are fully intact with no repairs, and deck boards are clean with no staining or foreign material.

Best for: Retail, food, pharmaceutical, automated warehouses

Grade B

Standard
$5 – $8

Good structural condition with minor cosmetic imperfections. May have slight discoloration or repaired boards. The workhorse of most supply chains. Grade B pallets may have one or two replaced deck boards but pass the same structural load-bearing tests as Grade A. These are the most popular choice for general warehousing, manufacturing distribution, and repeat-use supply chains.

Best for: Warehousing, manufacturing, general freight, distribution

Grade C

Economy
$3 – $5

Functional pallets with visible wear. May have staining, repaired stringers, or cosmetic damage. Structurally sound for standard loads up to 2,000 lbs dynamic. Grade C pallets often have multiple repaired boards and visible aging, but every pallet is confirmed to carry standard loads safely. A smart choice when appearance does not matter but you still need reliable performance.

Best for: One-way shipping, storage, construction sites, racking

Grade D

One-Trip
$1 – $3

Pallets suitable for a single use or light-duty applications. Some boards may be rough but all meet minimum load-bearing requirements of 1,500 lbs dynamic. Perfect when you need low-cost pallets for a one-way shipment and do not expect the pallet to be returned. Also popular among DIY builders and pallet furniture makers.

Best for: One-way freight, temporary storage, DIY projects, firewood base

Our 6-Step Inspection Process

Every recycled pallet that leaves our yard has passed a thorough 6-step quality assurance process. This is how we guarantee that the grade on the pallet matches the performance you receive.

01

Intake & Sorting

Every incoming pallet is sorted by size, type, and apparent condition. Pallets that are beyond economical repair are separated for recycling into mulch, biomass, or raw lumber recovery.

02

Structural Assessment

A trained inspector checks all stringers, lead boards, and interior deck boards for cracks, splits, and rot. Any pallet with a compromised stringer that cannot be safely repaired is rejected from the refurbished inventory.

03

Fastener Inspection

Protruding nails are driven flush or removed. Loose deck boards are re-nailed with ring-shank nails that grip 60% tighter than standard smooth nails. Damaged nail plates are replaced entirely.

04

Board Replacement

Cracked, split, or missing deck boards are replaced with matching lumber of equal or greater thickness. Replacement boards are cut to exact dimensions so the pallet maintains its original footprint and load distribution.

05

Dimensional Verification

Each pallet is checked against its target dimensions. Out-of-square pallets are corrected, and overall height is verified so pallets stack evenly and fit standard racking systems without issue.

06

Grade Assignment & Marking

After passing all checks, each pallet receives a grade (A, B, C, or D) based on its overall condition, cosmetic appearance, and number of repairs. The grade is marked on the pallet and it moves to the appropriate inventory area.

Common Applications

Recycled pallets work for the vast majority of pallet applications in every industry. Here are the most common use cases our Tucson customers order for.

Warehouse Racking

Store inventory on standard pallet racks. Grade A and B recycled pallets fit 48" x 40" racking bays perfectly and handle up to 2,500 lbs dynamic load per pallet position.

Ground-Level Storage

Stack products on pallets directly on the warehouse floor. Any grade works well for ground storage since pallets only need to support static loads and provide airflow under the product.

Domestic Shipping

Ship goods across the US via LTL or full truckload. Grade B and C pallets are the most popular choice for domestic freight — they cost less and perform reliably for the one-way trip.

Manufacturing & Assembly

Use pallets as work-in-progress platforms on the production floor. Recycled pallets are easy to replace when they wear out, keeping your per-unit costs low.

Retail Distribution

Grade A recycled pallets are popular with retailers who need clean, presentable pallets for store deliveries and floor displays. They look professional at a fraction of the cost of new.

Agriculture & Produce

Move crates of produce from the field to the cooler and onto trucks. Recycled pallets handle the weight and allow airflow. Ventilated configurations available for temperature-sensitive goods.

Construction Jobsites

Keep materials off the ground on active construction sites. Grade C and D pallets are perfect — inexpensive, disposable, and strong enough for building supplies, tools, and equipment.

Event & Temporary Use

Need pallets for a trade show, festival, or temporary staging area? Grade C and D pallets provide a low-cost platform that you can use once and return or recycle.

Why Choose Recycled?

Save 40–60%

Recycled pallets cost significantly less than new, with the same structural performance for most applications. A typical business ordering 200 pallets per month saves $1,000–$2,000 monthly by choosing recycled.

Planet Friendly

Every recycled pallet saves 27 lbs of CO₂, 0.15 trees, and 12 gallons of water compared to manufacturing new. Choosing recycled helps your company meet sustainability goals and reduce its carbon footprint.

Quality Assured

Our 6-step inspection process ensures every pallet is graded accurately so you know exactly what you are buying. Structural integrity is never compromised — we reject any pallet that cannot be safely repaired.

Bulk Ordering

We supply businesses ordering anywhere from 20 pallets to 10,000+ per month. Higher volumes unlock better per-unit pricing and priority scheduling.

Small Business

20–199 pallets/order

Standard pricing, same-day pickup or next-day delivery, phone and email support.

Mid-Volume

200–999 pallets/order

10–15% volume discount, scheduled weekly or biweekly deliveries, dedicated account rep, net-30 payment terms available.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about our recycled pallets answered in detail.

Are recycled pallets safe for food products?
Grade A recycled pallets are widely used in food distribution and grocery supply chains. However, if your application involves direct food contact or if your facility follows FDA or SQF standards that require new or heat-treated lumber, we recommend our new pallet line or our ISPM-15 heat-treated recycled pallets. We can provide Grade A pallets that have been through a single-use cycle in a clean supply chain — ask about our "food-grade recycled" option.
How much weight can a recycled pallet hold?
A standard 48" x 40" recycled pallet in Grade A or B condition supports approximately 2,500 lbs in dynamic load (being lifted and moved by a forklift) and up to 5,000 lbs in static load (sitting on the floor or in a rack). Grade C pallets are rated for up to 2,000 lbs dynamic. If you need higher capacities, we offer reinforced recycled pallets or recommend new hardwood pallets for loads exceeding 3,000 lbs dynamic.
What is the difference between Grade A and Grade B?
The main difference is cosmetic. Grade A pallets have no replaced boards, no staining, and minimal wear — they look nearly new. Grade B pallets may have one or two replaced deck boards and some discoloration, but their structural load capacity is identical to Grade A. For most warehousing and shipping applications, Grade B provides the best value because you get the same strength at a lower price. Choose Grade A when appearance matters, such as retail deliveries or customer-facing environments.
Do you buy back used pallets?
Yes. We operate a pallet buyback program that pays cash for used pallets in repairable condition. We buy standard 48" x 40" pallets and many other common sizes. If you have 50 or more pallets accumulating at your facility, we will pick them up at no charge and pay you on the spot. This keeps pallets out of the landfill and puts money back in your pocket. Learn more about our pallet buyback program.
How quickly can I get recycled pallets delivered?
For standard sizes that we keep in stock (like 48" x 40" in all grades), same-day pickup is available at our Tucson yard. For deliveries within the Tucson metro area, we typically deliver next business day. Southern Arizona locations outside Tucson — including Sierra Vista, Nogales, Green Valley, and Sahuarita — are usually served within 1–2 business days. For large orders (500+ pallets), we recommend scheduling delivery 3–5 business days ahead so we can stage your order and arrange transport efficiently.
