New Pallets

Some applications demand brand-new lumber. Our new pallets are built from kiln-dried Southern Yellow Pine or heat-treated hardwood, meeting the strictest industry and export standards.

Every new pallet we build starts with carefully graded lumber, cut to exact dimensions in our Tucson fabrication shop. Whether you need standard GMA pallets for a food distribution center, ISPM-15 stamped pallets for international export, or heavy-duty hardwood platforms for industrial machinery, we build to your specifications with consistent quality on every unit.

When You Need New

Food & Beverage

FDA-compliant pallets made from clean, kiln-dried lumber. No contamination risk from prior use. Meets SQF, BRC, and FSSC 22000 audit requirements for pallet hygiene.

Pharmaceutical

Meets strict pharmaceutical supply chain requirements including cleanliness, traceability, and GMP standards. Clean, unmarked lumber with no prior chemical exposure.

International Export

ISPM-15 heat-treated pallets stamped and certified for international shipping compliance. Required by nearly every country for wood packaging material crossing borders.

Automated Systems

Precision-built pallets with tight dimensional tolerances (±1/8") for automated warehouse systems, conveyor lines, and AS/RS racking where every millimeter counts.

Heavy Loads

Engineered for loads exceeding 2,500 lbs dynamic. Built with thicker stringers, closer board spacing, and reinforced nail patterns. Hardwood options for 5,000+ lbs.

Clean Environments

Ideal for manufacturing environments where pallet dust, debris, or foreign material cannot be tolerated. Fresh lumber means no splinters, no loose particles, no contamination.

Construction Options

Pallet construction affects load capacity, forklift access, racking compatibility, and cost. Here is how the two main construction types compare.

Stringer Pallets

Most Common & Cost-Effective
  • Use 2 or 3 longitudinal boards (stringers) as the structural backbone
  • Standard 2-way forklift entry (4-way with notched stringers)
  • Lower cost than block pallets — fewer components and faster to build
  • Ideal for standard warehousing, shipping, and racking applications
  • Easier to repair — individual stringers can be replaced on site
  • Dynamic load capacity: 2,000 – 3,500 lbs (varies by lumber and design)

Block Pallets

Maximum Strength & Flexibility
  • Use 4, 6, or 9 wooden blocks between the top and bottom deck boards
  • Full 4-way forklift and pallet jack access from every side
  • Higher load capacity — distributes weight more evenly across the deck
  • Required by some European and Asian supply chains (EUR/EPAL standard)
  • Better for automated systems due to consistent dimensions on all four sides
  • Dynamic load capacity: 3,000 – 5,500+ lbs (varies by lumber and design)

2-Way Entry

Cost-Effective for Linear Workflows

Forklift tines enter from two opposite sides only. Most common on stringer pallets without notching. Works well in facilities where pallets always face the same direction — straight dock-to-rack workflows, conveyor-fed systems, and single-aisle warehouses. Lower cost because stringers do not require notching.

4-Way Entry

Maximum Flexibility

Forklift tines can enter from all four sides. Standard on block pallets and available on stringer pallets with notched stringers. Essential for narrow-aisle warehouses, cross-docking operations, and any facility where pallets need to be rotated or accessed from multiple directions. Slightly higher cost but dramatically improves material handling speed.

Wood Options

Southern Yellow Pine (SYP)

  • Most common pallet lumber in North America
  • Excellent strength-to-weight ratio
  • Easy to nail and repair
  • Cost-effective for large orders
  • Readily available year-round in Tucson
  • Accepts heat treatment and kiln drying easily

Hardwood (Oak / Maple)

  • Higher load capacity than softwood
  • Superior durability and lifespan
  • Resistant to moisture and pests
  • Ideal for heavy-duty applications
  • Better resistance to splitting under repeated forklift use
  • Preferred for multi-trip pallet pools and reusable systems

Lead Times

Lead times depend on order size, customization level, and current production schedule. Here are typical turnaround times to help you plan.

1–3 Days

Standard sizes (in stock)

We keep a rotating inventory of new 48" x 40" GMA pallets in both SYP and hardwood. Small orders can ship same-day or next-day.

3–5 Days

Standard sizes (50–200 units)

Medium orders of common sizes are typically built and ready within a week. We stage your order for pickup or delivery on your schedule.

5–10 Days

Custom sizes or specs

Non-standard dimensions, specialty treatments, or custom lumber grades require additional setup. We confirm exact lead time within 24 hours of your order.

10–15 Days

Large orders (500+ units)

High-volume orders may require phased production and delivery. We can schedule weekly or biweekly shipments to match your consumption rate.

Rush orders available — call us to discuss expedited production for time-sensitive needs.

When New Is Worth It

New pallets cost more upfront, but for certain applications the investment pays for itself in compliance, longevity, or reduced risk. Here is how new compares to recycled.

Consider Recycled First

For most applications, our Grade A recycled pallets perform identically to new — at 40–60% less cost and with near-zero environmental impact. Ask us if recycled might work for your use case before committing to new.
